Francesca Poza presents, at the Museu del Càntir d'Argentona,
an exhibition where fabrics are intertwined with words forming poetic works of great delicacy
"My work is always the fruit of a double movement, which advances outwards and inwards simultaneously. The action that gives shape to the work also corresponds to a modification of the intimate space, in such a way that the external and internal space are mutually reflected. From this uninterrupted dialogue its hybrid nature is born.
Poems and matter travel together, they come together in this exhibition, showing apparently fragile works, using simple techniques, paper weaving, recycled books. Highlighting the commitment to sustainability that has been present since almost the beginning of his career.
In this way of making and telling stories, memory and forgetting are a recurring theme in his work, giving rise to a poetics reflected in different aspects of creativity.
The subtlety of the thread organizes time, the link, the continuity, interweaving, wrapping, unraveling, weaving in an extremely delicate poetic border.
